June 2021 Update

Well folks we are still here on the lovely Bombay Hills.!

I did try to retire and sell a few months ago but it is not the right time and have now decided to commit to at least another 2 years of running Maxwell’s.

It is amazing that since making that decision how many awesome people have come into our lives putting their hands up to help us keep going and lending us their expertise. I am so grateful. No longer do I feel like I am pushing the barrow alone!

Our golf simulator is up and running in our Driving Range connected to the Clubhouse..so much fun and is becoming a very popular addition to Maxwells. You can book it via our website. Play the famous courses or you can train on the Driving Range app.

My 9holegolftours are going great. We have been to Mangawhai/Warkworth and also Rotorua. I loved them both and would definitely go back to Rotorua I really enjoyed staying at Aura Motel. The next tours are to Blenheim/Picton/Kaikoura/Hanmer Springs/Christchurch (we have 2 tours going one end of Feb and one end of March. In between, we have a tour to Napier/Hastings13-19 March. So far all the tours are full so I had better get some more ready for the ladies.

We have built a new 10th green it is sand based so the putting surface will be awesome.
Mark, my son and Gunther, one of our members have done a fabulous job to keep the costs down but still make it look great.
